The final EDiT survey is currently online and will be closed in the next week. Around 120 Doctors have completed the final survey and have been eligible to recieve their free memory stick. You can still complete the survey if you have not done so up to now. Overall we have recruited around 250 F2 doctors to the survey.
Alongside the EDiT survey we are carrying out a Quality of Care Study which is reviewing selected patient notes of participating doctors for 2 conditions (COPD/Head injury). These notes are taken from the training doctors’ emergency medicine placement and will be reviewed by expert clinicians to assess the quality of care provided. We have 12 EDs participating in this study and we are currently setting up training days for the reviewers of the notes.
